The gallery was founded in 2006 by Asia Żak and Anna Morlighaus. It is dedicated to the showcasing of contemporary art from Eastern Europe. After an initial focus on photography and video art, the program was expanded to include other media. The gallery represents primarily young, emerging artists who have already gained notoriety within their countries of origin. It is our aim to promote this independent art-scene across the still perceptible border of East and West.
